Who is this ADHD test intended for?

This test is designed for adults who are 18 years of age or older. It's not intended for diagnosing ADHD in children or adolescents.

How should I interpret my ADHD test results?

Your ADHD test score is a cumulative total based on your answers, with a maximum possible score of 92 points. The higher your score, the more likely you are to exhibit ADHD symptoms. Here’s how to understand your score:

0 - 23 points: Minimal or no ADHD symptoms

24 - 46 points: Mild ADHD symptoms

47 - 69 points: Moderate ADHD symptoms

70 - 92 points: Severe ADHD symptoms

What's the scoring method for the adult ADHD test?

For the majority of questions, scoring is as follows:

Never = 0

Rarely = 1

Sometimes = 2

Frequently = 3

Very often = 4

For questions 2, 21, and 23, scoring is reversed:

Never = 4

Rarely = 3

Sometimes = 2

Frequently = 1

Very often = 0

We compute your total score by summing the points from all questions, excluding the control questions (11 and 17). 

What is the purpose of control questions in the ADHD test?

The control questions are included as part of the test to gauge the participant's general attentiveness and seriousness in answering. They are not related to ADHD and don't contribute to the ADHD score.
