This test is designed for adults who are 18 years of age or older. It's not intended for diagnosing ADHD in children or adolescents.
Your ADHD test score is a cumulative total based on your answers, with a maximum possible score of 92 points. The higher your score, the more likely you are to exhibit ADHD symptoms. Here’s how to understand your score:
0 - 23 points: Minimal or no ADHD symptoms
24 - 46 points: Mild ADHD symptoms
47 - 69 points: Moderate ADHD symptoms
70 - 92 points: Severe ADHD symptoms
For the majority of questions, scoring is as follows:
Never = 0
Rarely = 1
Sometimes = 2
Frequently = 3
Very often = 4
For questions 2, 21, and 23, scoring is reversed:
Never = 4
Rarely = 3
Sometimes = 2
Frequently = 1
Very often = 0
We compute your total score by summing the points from all questions, excluding the control questions (11 and 17).
The control questions are included as part of the test to gauge the participant's general attentiveness and seriousness in answering. They are not related to ADHD and don't contribute to the ADHD score.
If your score suggests you may have symptoms of ADHD, consider seeking a formal evaluation from a licensed healthcare professional. This online test is a useful screening tool, but it cannot replace a professional diagnosis.
