The test is an adapted version of the internationally recognised "Generalized Anxiety Disorder GAD-7" method. It is a questionnaire developed by Dr. Robert L. Spitzer, Dr. Janet B.W. Williams and Dr. Kurt Kroenke to measure symptoms of anxiety. This test comes at no financial cost, is not related with it's original authors and is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only.
The test consists of 7 items that assess the severity of the main symptoms of anxiety, such as worry, restlessness, feeling threatened, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability and sleep disturbance in the last two weeks.
This adapted anxiety test is not a diagnostic tool. For a professional assessment, please consult a doctor, psychiatrist or psychologist.

The GAD-7 is a tool used to assess the severity of generalized anxiety disorder. It comprises seven questions designed to measure the frequency and intensity of anxiety or anxiety-related symptoms over the past two weeks.
0-4 points: Little or no anxiety symptoms
5-9 points: Mild level of anxiety
10-14 points: Moderate-intense level of anxiety
15-21 points: High level of anxiety
How are the scores calculated for the anxiety test?
The total score is the sum of the individual question scores. The answers are scored as follows:
Not at all = 0
A few times = 1
More than seven days = 2
Almost every day = 3
The individual scores are added up to provide the total score at the end of the questionnaire. The result can be interpreted using the guidelines mentioned above.
The anxiety test is intended for anyone experiencing symptoms of anxiety and wants to assess the severity of their anxiety. This could help you decide if you need treatment and/or management for your anxiety.
The frequency of taking the test depends on your personal circumstances and the advice of your healthcare provider. Regular testing is recommended as part of ongoing monitoring and management of your anxiety.
If your test result indicates moderate or severe anxiety, it's important to consult with a mental health professional. They can provide you with the necessary guidance on the next steps.
